The sign language in the box helps deaf children understand the characters' words. P

Children cannot hear cartoons, but they can enjoy the cartoons! P

Then the cartoon makers had another idea. P

It can be any color. People made it with tin first. P

Now, they make it with plastic. P

It is easy to make a sound on the vuvuzela. P

First, put your lips on the mouthpiece. P

Then make a sound like a fart. P

Blow out very hard! One vuvuzela sounds like an elephant, P

but many vuvuzelas together sound like angry bees. P

Some South Africans believe the kudu horn was the first vuvuzela. P

Long ago, African villagers used it to call people to meetings. P

In the 1990s, people started using it differently. P

They used it for cheering soccer players. P

In 2010, the World Cup was in South Africa. P

So the giraffe's long neck helps it look for lions. P

It can see very far away with its neck. P

A giraffe's long neck also helps it get food. It eats the leaves on high trees. P

Poison dart frogs live in the rainforests in South America. P

They are very bright and colorful. P

Their colors tell other animals "Don't eat me! I have poison!" Every animal watches out for these dangerous frogs. P

This owl lives in the Arctic. P

The snowy owl uses its excellent eyesight and hearing to hunt. P

It can see and hear animals from far away. P

"Also, look at its ears." P

"They are so small! Can it hear well with such small ears?" asks Fry. P

"Of course," says Phillip. "But why are its ears so small?" asks Fry. P

"The small ears help the Arctic fox keep its body heat," Philip says. P

"Then it must be really hot for the Arctic fox here! Oh, poor fox. P

I want to help it," Fry says. Phillip and Fry open the cage. P

They take the Arctic fox to an airport nearby. The Arctic fox thanks them. P
